Frock Me! in Chelsea

G and I trotted off to Chelsea, West London yesterday to take a look around a vintage clothes fair called ‘Frock Me!’.  Well known for its antique arcades, as well as its fashionable young things, the King’s Road was the ideal spot for this clothes and accessories fair.  It was a bustling event overflowing with old couture pieces, lacy dresses, cigarette cases and wonderful shoes, held in the beautiful old Town Hall.

Around every corner was a different stall and people rummaging for unusual party frocks and last minute Christmas gifts with a vintage twist. Possibly the best bit about the whole thing was the yummy tea room, with lots of lovely old crockery and scones and cakes galore.  But we weren’t there to scoff sweet treats!  We were scoping it out to see whether it was a place to sell our wares…

Classic men's gold watch

As you might expect, we saw lots of Chelsea boots on feet and rows of Chelsea tractors parked outside, but we only found three watches in the whole place!  There’s a bit of a waiting list but we’re hoping to get a spot at either Chelsea or their other Brighton venue in February. So, if you want to see Watch Me Go and our vintage pieces in the flesh, stay tuned for details of our stand.
